Line Infantry Company

A standard Line Infantry Company consists of a company headquarters, three line platoons, and one heavy weapons platoon.

Company Headquarters 12 men Company Commander (O-3) Command and control element responsible for company movement, communication, medical support, and coordination of platoons and heavy weapons.
Line Platoon (×3) 52 men each Platoon Leader (O-1) Standard Line Infantry platoon consisting of three rifle squads and one heavy weapons squad.
Heavy Weapons Platoon 37 men Platoon Leader Company-level fire support element consisting of 62.5mm mortar teams and VMG-33 machine gun teams.

Radio Operator (×2) E-1 to E-4 P-32 Maintains communications with platoons and higher command.
Runner / Orderly (×2) E-1 to E-3 R-20 Carries messages and supports command operations when radio is unavailable.
Medic (×2) E-3 to E-4 R-20, SMG-32, or unarmed Provides immediate medical treatment and casualty stabilization.
